Hosted Travel
Prefer to travel with a group of like-minded anglers? Are you a solo traveler looking to take the trip of a lifetime while avoiding the costly single angler upcharges that can be as high as 75 percent? Want to travel with your significant other on a trip tailor-made for guests with mixed interests? Then one of our 2025 or 2026 hosted trips may be the perfect fit.
From traditional fly fishing travel, to couples travel with non-angler activities (sightseeing, cooking classes, wine tastings, hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, white water rafting and much more), to one of our Namibian safari tours, we have options for almost anyone.

Yukon Territory
Dalton Trail Lodge
For more than 30 years, Hardy Ruf has welcomed guests to his remote lodge on the shores of Dezadeash Lake. A Swiss ex-pat, Ruf spent years looking for the perfect place to launch his fishing and adventure lodge, and when he came to the Yukon, there was no doubt — this was it. The lodge complex is homey and comfortable with a touch of rustic, and guests can fish literally right out the back door, either on the lake or on a couple of streams on the property that are home to wonderfully accommodating Arctic grayling.

Amur Taimen Sanctuary
Mongolia River Outfitters
Thanks to a partnership between Mongolia River Outfitters (MRO) and the Mongolian government, the river you'll journey down in search of the world's largest trout is officially protected as the Amur Taimen Sanctuary. Both are unabashedly protective of the river and all of the life in and around it. Visitors to the region will likely take note of the staunch conservation approach employed by guides and camp staff during their time in the region, which is as diverse and dramatic as the fishing.

Magic Waters Lodge
Trout anglers are ponderous—we’ve heard the stories about the “good old days,” when our home waters were still secret fishing spots and when fabled rivers like the Madison or the Roaring Fork were still “frontier” fisheries. Today, as we count the drift boats on the Green or the cars in the parking lot at Last Chance on the Henry’s Fork, it’s hard to imagine how things must have been “back then.”
Patagonia Baker Lodge
Mar 6-13, 2026
4 spots available

Our first couples week in Patagonia — at Magic Waters Lodge in the Coyhaique region — sold out in just a few days. But don't worry, if you're hoping to embark on a Patagonian adventure with your significant other, we still have room for two more couples on our visit to Magic Waters' sister lodge a few hours south in the Baker River region. The Rio Baker region, on the border of Patagonia National Park, is one of the most stunning in all of Chile. The week will be filled with activities for anglers and non-anglers alike. For non-anglers, there will be a strong focus on cooking classes and wine tasting, as well as national park tours, sightseeing, hiking, and many other activities. For the anglers in the group, the Baker River flows right outside your guestroom window and the region offers many other fishing opportunities on lakes, rivers, and creeks.
Send us a note ASAP if you'd like to grab one of the last two remaining rooms.

Patagonia
Patagonia Baker Lodge
The mighty Rio Baker is perhaps Chile’s most iconic and beautiful river. Well-known to fly fishers, kayakers and rafters which have floated its glacially-tinged waters for decades, the Baker received worldwide recognition in 2014 when an enormous civic action campaign saved the river from a massive dam and hydroelectric power project that would have destroyed the river’s raw, wild nature and untarnished ecosystem. Thanks to that campaign, today the Baker still flows free and wild.

Krka River Lodge

Our couples weeks in Patagonia received such an enthusiastic response that we decided we should offer another option for angler and non-angler couples looking to travel together. And we're doing it at one of the world's best destinations for multi-activity itineraries — Slovenia. Our home for the week, Krka River Lodge, offers a program that is built from the ground up to cater to both anglers and non-anglers. While fly fishers are off enjoying Slovenia's diverse angling opportunities for marble trout, brown trout, rainbow trout, grayling, pike and more, those that don't walk around in plastic pants toting fishing rods will tour charming villages, cosmpolitan cities, stunning caves, castles, famous Lake Bled, churches, museums, Slovenia's renowned crystal shops; as well as enjoy sightseeing in the Julian Alps, wine tastings, cooking classes, and much more.
It's going to be an amazing week in Slovenia. Like other trips on our hosted calendar, this one was just announced. More info is coming soon, but please drop us a line if you'd like to head to Slovenia with us in 2026!
