We're returning to Christmas Island Lodge for the first time since its new ownership took the helm a few years ago, and we're inviting a handful of anglers to join us on this exploratory visit. Christmas (Kiritimati) Island has long been regarded as one of the premier flats fishing destinations in the world.  Located 1344 miles south of Honolulu and 120 miles north of the equator, Christmas Island has an incredible year-round fishery unaffected by weather and seasons. The diversity of fish species you can target include bonefish, giant trevally, bluefin trevally, golden trevally, striped trevally, spotted trevally, dusky trevally, Titan and Yellow Margin triggerfish, milkfish and countless species of reef fish.

Our first couples week in Patagonia — at Magic Waters Lodge in the Coyhaique region — sold out in just a few days. But don't worry, if you're hoping to embark on a Patagonian adventure with your significant other, we still have room for two more couples on our visit to Magic Waters' sister lodge a few hours south in the Baker River region. The Rio Baker region, on the border of Patagonia National Park, is one of the most stunning in all of Chile. The week will be filled with activities for anglers and non-anglers alike. For non-anglers, there will be a strong focus on cooking classes and wine tasting, as well as national park tours, sightseeing, hiking, and many other activities. For the anglers in the group, the Baker River flows right outside your guestroom window and the region offers many other fishing opportunities on lakes, rivers, and creeks.

We're hosting two back-to-back hosted tours and safaris in Namibia this coming March. Hike Namibia's famous sand dunes, stay at luxurious lodges, and wildlife-watch lions, leopards, zebras, rhinos, hippos, giraffe and more — and do so at a budget you can afford. The first of our two week, fishing-focused hosted adventure to Patagonia begins at Patagonia Baker Lodge in the second half of March 2026. This March, the lodge produced a conveyor belt of trophy catches and we're headed back in 2026 to see if we can replicate this year's success. Our second hosted week in Chile will find us at world renowned Magic Waters Lodge. Enjoy Magic Waters' wildly diverse fishing for brown and rainbow trout when autumn fishing is at its peak. Enjoy the often electric dry fly terrestrial fishing characteristic of this time of year or cast big, articulated streamers for aggressive fall brown trout.

Join us as we head to an oceanfront outpost on the funky island of Roatan, steeped in pirate lore and with a vibrant local as well as ex-pat community. Located off the coast of Honduras, Roatan is a one-of-a-kind flats fishing destination. Ringed by an expansive tropical reef, Roatan is celebrated not only for its flats fishing for permit, bonefish, tarpon, barracuda and more — but is a world-famous destination for scuba diving and snorkeling.

Our couples weeks in Patagonia received such an enthusiastic response that we decided we should offer another option for angler and non-angler couples looking to travel together. And we're doing it at one of the world's best destinations for multi-activity itineraries — Slovenia. Our home for the week, Krka River Lodge, offers a program that is built from the ground up to cater to both anglers and non-anglers. While fly fishers are off enjoying Slovenia's diverse angling opportunities for marble trout, brown trout, rainbow trout, grayling, pike and more, those that don't walk around in plastic pants toting fishing rods will tour charming villages, cosmpolitan cities, stunning caves, castles, famous Lake Bled, churches, museums, Slovenia's renowned crystal shops; as well as enjoy sightseeing in the Julian Alps, wine tastings, cooking classes, and much more.
