Our 2026 Couples Weeks in Patagonia are selling quickly
We've added two more weeks
When we announced last week that we were hosting two Couples Weeks in Patagonia in March of 2026, we honestly weren't prepared for the response. Perhaps it's the unique offering, pairing the world-class fishing at both Magic Waters Lodge and Patagonia Baker Lodge with the opportunity for non-anglers to take a comprehensive cooking program from real Chilean chefs, or maybe it's the simple beauty of Chilean Patagonia, with its awe-inspiring views and its wonderful people. Regardless, the two weeks we set aside specifically for couples filled very quickly. So quickly, in fact, that we decided we needed to offer two more weeks for couples who want to see the best of Patagonia, even if they have varied interests.

A unique opportunity to learn from the best chefs in the business
This is the first time we've offered this unique itinerary to either of our wonderful Chilean lodges. The idea, of course, was to find the perfect Patagonian experience that appealed not just to the angling crowd, but to non-fishing spouses and partners who might love to see Patagonia, but not necessarily from the back of a pontoon cata-raft. The cooking lessons are as comprehensive as guests want them to be, and they can learn at the elbows of some amazing Chilean chefs over the course of a week at either lodge (or, like some of our clients, both lodges!). Students will cover the gamut of Patagonian cooking, from crafting the perfect emapañada to pulling off the perfect stream side asado. They'll also learn about the wonderful Chilean wines that both lodges serve, and how to pair wine with each meal. And, maybe most importantly, students will learn how to craft some of the most delectable dessert served at any of our destination partner lodges all over the world — these hand-crafted specialties are amazing.

More than just fishing or cooking
Not an angler, but also maybe not totally into the cooking thing? Not to worry. Both lodges offer robust non-angling programs ranging from comprehensive national park tours to horseback riding or hiking on local trails, and scenic drives and boat tours. The scenery around both lodges is absolutely incredible, and it would take a lifetime to take in every vista or find every stunning waterfall in this gorgeous corner of Patagonia.
We'd love to have you join us in Patagonia next March — it's a magical time of year, with the calafate berries are on the bushes and stunning fall colors start to slowly take over the area's rich, summer greens. It's also among the best times of the year for both terrestrial angling and streamer fishing for plus-sized browns and rainbows. Interested? Just let us know — we'll get you all booked and ready to start planning your Patagonia adventure.
