Mongolia is back!
Spend a week chasing giant taimen with Mongolia River Outfitters
We’re headed to Mongolia this fall to chase giant taimen, and we’d love to have you join us! Our hosted trip is Sept. 25-Oct. 6, and consists of eight nights and seven full days on the river, fishing through a very beautiful and remote stretch of the Mongolia Taimen Sanctuary, the first such sanctuary of its kind. We’ll also cast for Amur trout, lenok, grayling and Amur pike. We'll spend some time in Ulan Bator at the beginning and the end of the trip. There is a limit of six anglers on each adventure and no more than 30 guests will fish this stretch of river the whole year. There are still four spots available on our hosted trip but if that time frame does not work for you and you still want to go, send us a note. There are a few scattered spots available that we might be able to get you in on
Available dates:
Sept. 25-Oct. 6 (this is our hosted trip — there may be more spots available, so just send us an inquiry below)

Dalton Trail Lodge in the heart of the Klondike
The annual southern Yukon lake trout migration
Every year, starting in late August and continuing through October, the giant lake trout of the southern Yukon begin their annual migration into the rivers and the streams in the region. Big lakers up to 40 pounds migrate like salmon, and they’re voracious eaters as they prepare for their annual spawning run. You can be there to meet them this year! Come to Dalton Trail Lodge in the heart of the Klondike to experience this amazing migration of giant char as they move out of the lakes and into tributary rivers and streams. Sight-cast to these giant behemoths with conventional fly gear — no need to dredge or go deep. It’s a uniquely Yukon experience — and it's ideal for the solo angler who doesn't want to pay more for single occupancy!
Available dates: 4-, 5-, 6- or 7-night stays between Sept. 9-24.

5-night package US 2,790

We're hosting a group to the stunning Battle Hill Lodge in Iceland to fish four different rivers for incoming sea-run brown trout — including one river that has never been opened to fishing by outside anglers — in September, and we'd love to have you join us. Battle Hill is an amazing destination, and the rivers are postcard-worthy. Come with us and swing streamers to aggressive migrating sea trout, and see what all the fuss is about. We'll be there Sept. 20-26 — will you?

The iconic Belize River Lodge
An exploratory trip for jungle tarpon, flats bones and permit
We’re continually adding new lodges, camps and resorts to our list of quality destinations, and this June, we’re visiting Belize River Lodge. One of the first fly-fishing lodges ever built in Belize, this iconic establishment still offers clients excellent shots at tarpon, bonefish and permit. While the lodge itself sits right on the Belize River near the suburban village of Ladyville — and some great tarpon and snook fishing — its proprietors also operate Long Caye Outpost Lodge, a beautiful and understated lodge located well off the Belizean coast in the Caribbean. Here, we’ll chase bones and permit, as well as snappers, jacks and barracuda. We’ve never been to Belize River Lodge before, but we’re excited to check it out. If you’re interested in some great fishing for bonefish, permit, tarpon and more, come with us — we have four slots open for anyone who wants come see the lodge — and the fishing — that started it all in Belize!

Royal Wolf Lodge in Bristol Bay, Alaska
An exploratory trip for giant rainbows on dries and mouse patterns
Just as with Belize River Lodge, we’re visiting the renowned Royal Wolf Lodge in the heart of Bristol Bay in hopes of adding this storied property to our list of offered destinations. We’ll be there in June, the ideal time to experience daily fly-out fishing and cast dry flies and mouse patterns to Bristol Bay’s renowned rainbow trout. Some of these behemoths push 30 inches, and they’re the hardest-fighting rainbows anywhere. Join us as we experience Royal Wolf’s legendary trout fishery, with options for Dolly Varden, grayling and northern pike, too!
